Coach boarding happens directly at Haridwar, and the drive tracks past the Mussoorie bypass roads before climbing toward the Yamuna valley. This is a full travel day — expect the bulk of it spent on the road rather than sightseeing — and the group arrives in Barkot by evening, checking into pre-allocated hotel rooms for the night. Rest matters more on Day 1 than activity does, given what the next morning brings.

An early drive covers the stretch to Janki Chatti, where vehicle parking follows fixed local guidelines and private vehicles stop before the final approach. From here, the Yamunotri trek covers roughly 6 km on foot — a steady 3 to 5 hour climb depending on pace and how the group's holding up.

Pony and palki options are there for anyone who can't manage the full walk. After darshan and collecting prasad at the temple, it's back downhill to Janki Chatti, then on to Barkot for the night.

The drive from Barkot to Uttarkashi cuts through several mountain tunnel stretches, marking the shift out of the Yamuna basin and into the Bhagirathi valley.

Once checked in, the evening opens up for a visit to the historic Kashi Vishwanath temple in Uttarkashi — timing this for the morning aarti window the next day, if the group's schedule allows, adds a quieter darshan experience than a rushed evening visit.

Hotel check-in for the night happens in Uttarkashi itself, which also serves as the base town for tomorrow's Gangotri run.

Unlike Yamunotri, the Gangotri Dham temple drive runs entirely on a motorable road — no trek required, since the vehicle goes right up to the temple. En route, Harsil Valley's apple orchard belt makes for a real break from the driving — 20 to 30 minutes there is worth it even on a packed schedule.

Darshan happens at the main Gangotri temple after that, and the group heads back to Uttarkashi for a second night rather than staying at Gangotri, since options up there stay limited.

This is a genuine long-haul transit day, crossing from the Bhagirathi basin entirely over to the Mandakini river channel that leads toward Kedarnath.

Road comfort stops are built into the route deliberately, given the distance covered, and check-in happens at a property from our selected inventory of hotels in the Sitapur-Guptkashi belt — the base for tomorrow's Kedarnath ascent. This is the day to rest properly, since Day 6 is the most physically demanding stretch of the entire circuit.

An early morning drive covers the Guptkashi to Sonprayag stretch, timed to reach the transfer point before the day's crowd builds. From Sonprayag, the group transfers to local green shuttles for the short run to Gaurikund, where the real climb starts.

The Gaurikund to Kedarnath trekking distance covers roughly 16 km, climbing from around 1,980 meters to 3,583 meters — most groups reach the ridge top by late afternoon. Check-in happens at basic mountain lodges, and the evening closes with the Kedarnath Shiva Aarti, witnessed inside the temple compound as sub-zero mountain cold sets in at this altitude.

A special morning pooja darshan happens early, ahead of the day's descent. The 16 km trek back down to Gaurikund follows, then a shuttle transfer to Sonprayag, where your private fleet vehicle waits at the exit parking zone.

The drive back to the Sitapur base hotel closes the day, and dinner plus a full night's sleep matter more here than anything else on the schedule — the body needs genuine recovery time after two demanding trekking days back to back.

The drive to Badrinath cuts across the scenic Chopta-Chamoli belt before dropping down into the Alaknanda valley. Arrival at the high-altitude Badrinath basin happens by evening, with check-in at a hotel near the dham. The sacred corridors around the temple complex are worth an evening walk before the main darshan the following morning.

An early darshan slot, arranged through group scheduling, helps bypass the longer queue that builds at Badrinath temple as the morning progresses.

Afterward, the group covers the short stretch to Mana village — the last Indian village before the Indo-Tibet border, sitting just a few kilometers from Badrinath itself, with its own distinct mountain-hamlet character worth the stop.

Check-out follows, and the drive downhill toward Srinagar or Rudraprayag closes the day, marking the start of the return leg.

The final day covers the remaining highway stretch back down through the river valleys the group climbed through over the previous nine days, concluding with a drop at Haridwar — either at the railway station for onward connections or at your group's designated pickup point.
